Higher Ed Partners
Western Washington University, a comprehensive, regional university with 12,500
students, is the lead institution. WWU scientists have a 30-year history preparing
future teachers and providing professional development for inservice teachers in the
region. The community college partners include Everett, Skagit Valley and Whatcom
Community College, and the state's only Native American college, Northwest
Indian College.
